GPN Roadshow Shetland

Jenny Wilson, Professional Nurse Advisor at Scottish Government and Lynne Innes, NES National Coordinator for GPN are planning to visit every NHS Board area during September and October 2018 with the intention of trying to meet as many of you as possible in each area.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to find out about the future of our profession as GPNs as we enter an exciting time with Scottish Government funding being invested in our education.
We are planning some interactive workshops to gather information, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and there will be a variety of speakers to give us a picture of where we are now both at National and Local level.
We shall aim to both inform and listen to you regarding the new GPN refocused role as part of the Transforming Roles Programme, the new GMS Contract and the proposed education provision utilising the investment of the £3 million over the next 3 years for GPN education.
We have also invited Tommy Whitelaw to come to speak on behalf of The Alliance with reference to the ‘What matters to you’ and Dementia Carer Voices projects.
