GPN (Education for Health) Enhancing the Diagnosis and Management of Respiratory Disease SCQF Level 11 Module

This course will start ONLINE on 21st September 2020.

Please note, SCQF Level 11 is aimed at Health Care Professionals experienced in Respiratory management. It is an academic course and students are required to demonstrate critical thinking skills. The module is supported by online materials including discussion forums and reading activities. This course offers students an excellent opportunity to focus on key issues in asthma such as adherence and inhaler technique in addition to exploration of complexities such as difficulties with diagnosis and supporting self-management.

Normally at Masters (SCQF Level 11) at minimum, lower class honours degree in a health related or social care related subject is required. However, it is also possible for students without an honours degree to access the programme if they can demonstrate knowledge and skills at a level equivalent to that of a degree.

This module will enable students to ensure the timely and effective diagnosis and appropriate management of people presenting with respiratory symptoms.

This 6 month module offers a blended approach with eLearning supported by two face to face study days. Course commences online on 21st September 2020.

The two study days are:

Day 1 : 29th September 2020 

Day 2 : 26th January 2021
