These resources have been gathered by NHSScotland librarians to support you to make the right decision for the right person at the right time. This month we are focusing on alcohol-use disorder.

 

As a professional working in Primary Care you know that your practice must be current and evidence based to ensure patient safety.  There are times when you will want to check the latest evidence, research and practice examples to inform your own practice. Go to the Knowledge Network (www.knowledge.scot.nhs.uk) to register for an NHSScotland OpenAthens username - this gets you access to a range of evidence summaries, journals, books and databases such as BMJ Best Practice and MEDLINE and journals such as the Journal of Primary Care and Community Health and the British Journal of Nursing.
