Develop Self, Others and Service - Foundation level leadership course - 10th May 2021

This course is for GPs and Pharmacists who have not had any leadership development before.  A more advanced course is available for practitioners who have had some previous leadership development.  The main focus of this course is 'the team' and the role of a leader of a team.  The course will introduce the role of the leader within a team (not all leaders lead a team) and how leaders can ensure the team works effectively together.  The course will build on this team-based approach to leadership to consider: what role does the leader in improving services, what role does the leader play in the analysis of Significant Events (SEAs), and what is the role of a leader in the appraisal of others?

Another one day Foundation level leadership course, the 'Taste of Leadership' course (TOL), focuses on aspects of personal leadership.  The TOL course should ideally be attended prior to this course.

This online course will run from 9.30am until 12pm, where we will stop for lunch until 12.45pm.  We will then continue the session from 12.45pm until 2.30pm.
