  • Difficult Consultations - Published September 2016 Please note that there are 4 video clips used in this module and these are available in a secure part of our website, and should be viewed prior to the PBSGL meeting by members, and during the meeting also. This will require a good internet connection at your group’s meeting venue, a screen that can be seen by all group members, and decent audio. These are ESSENTIAL for this module, and the facilitator should check all the above, well before the meeting, to ensure its success.  The link to the videos and password are located on page 2 of this module, and so you will require to be logged in with your PBSGL login details to access this information.

  • Us and Them - The Primary-Secondary Care Interface. - Published November 2017 This module has been developed for groups of Primary and Secondary care clinicians to study together at a group meeting. It was developed by a group which contained Primary and Secondary Care clinicians. The term “interface” refers to where the patient moves from one part of the health service to another. The module can be studied by any PBSGL group so long as they are aware of how the module differs from other modules. This will involve PBSGL group members widening their focus, to see how the interface affects those working in hospitals. At times, a question in a case asks a specialist how they would deal with a situation. Pilot groups found it was helpful and worthwhile to invite at least one Secondary Care clinician to their meeting to study this module.
